I Lost 25lbs with these amazing products!

Hey, this is Becky Edwards, and as a working mom, I know that losing weight, and keeping the pounds off can be next to impossible. Between taking my two girls to school, activities, and then adding my own work on top of everything, eating right is not always in the forefront of my mind. I make sure my girls eat healthy, but sometimes it is quicker for me to just go through a drive-thru than to cut up a bunch of veggies to have with me as I run hear and there.

This is my story. After having my first little girl, who is now 8, I was able to lose all but about 15 pounds of my baby weight. When I got pregnant again, I just added more to that. It has been almost 6 years since I had my youngest, and I have added 38 pounds to my body from when I was in my early 20s. That really hit me recently as we were buying new dresses for a Christmas party that is coming up. My girls were trying them on in the same room as me, and none of the dresses fit me. Or when they did fit me, I couldn’t believe the size it was. And I just looked lumpy.

My oldest daughter asked me what was wrong, and I realized that I was just unhappy with my body. I never slowed down enough to really take that into consideration until that day in the dressing room. I knew something needed to change, but I wasn¹t sure how I could do it. This is how I did it and here are the pics of me before during and after.

Losing 25 pounds was easier than I thought it would be. I ended up using a combination of 2 diet supplements that I saw on TV, I didn’t need a trendy diet to lose the weight. I feel great. I didn’t have a huge lunch because I wasn’t too hungry, but my energy is super high. I have tried other diet supplements before that have just made me feel hyper, and then I crashed. But this doesn’t seem to be working that way. I read that Acai is considered a super-food.

Its been a week since starting both products, and I decided to weigh myself. I lost 9 pounds! That’s more then a pound a day, and I haven’t had to change what I am eating or anything like that. I have noticed that I feel less hungry, but that is a side effect of the Acai berry.

It has been another week, putting me at 2weeks of using both supplements. I weighed myself this morning when I got up, and I had lost 10 pounds in this last week. So that is 19 pounds in 2 weeks. Shoes to Burn Fat?

Trainers are thinking of techniques and exercises for their clients to shed unwanted pounds. And nutritionists make your diet to be healthy and non-fattening. These are all important, but time and money consuming.

If you don’t have time, this new product may just be for you. Madonna, Christina Aguilera, and Gwyneth Paltrow are all using it. The tone-walker sandal and other cellulite-burning footwear are worn by celebrities who can’t pass up an incredible solution to their problem.

These shoes are said to burn much calories by simply doing your regular activities like shopping and walking. The shoes are oversized and heavy for you to give extra effort in walking. The curves in the shoes make your body lean slightly backward for additional muscle work. This will tone your legs so it will look better.

The downside of wearing these shoes is the design because of its big size and price. For Madonna and other rich celebrities, it costs at least $200, but cheaper rates are $150. Plus, it’s hard to get used to walking in unusual soles so buyers are less excited about buying.

My Personal Problem

There are more fat than thin people so don’t ever feel alone. Your whole family may be thin, and you, being the ill-fated one, are fat. Not to worry because many people are like you, including me. Okay, so not my whole family is thin, but my two siblings are.

My brother eats a lot, maybe almost twice what I eat, yet he remains as he was five years ago. My younger sister, she counts her calories, but still, she sometimes eats more then me. But I can already see she will still have the body of a model. It’s really not fair that I don’t have a good metabolism and that I get to inherit the bad genes of having huge thighs.

I’m not into diet because research says weight will be regained within six months, so I try my best to have a healthy lifestyle. I go out and walk at the mall (not to eat), play sport with my lucky sister, and eat less meat and carbohydrate. I really do hope it works, and I’ll tell you all about it after I succeed. But for now, I am still talking about the researches about losing weight. Hope it helps and we can all learn from it.

Know Why You Overeat, Cont.

Okay, so this is the continuation of the previous article I did.

Step 2: Slowly Try to Change

After knowing what you would like to change, gradually go into that diet. Do not overexert yourself because you might return to your former habit. Example, Martha is a successful woman in her department, yet she has a trouble with eating. When she feels pressured, she immediately goes to a near vending machine and eats an unhealthy snack.

After understanding how this affects her, she changes and walks instead. And then, she finds other faults in herself and changes them one by one.

Step 3: Prepare in Advance

You should know that you’re already not aware of some of your eating habits. You have done this for a long time now, so you don’t know when enough is enough. Think of a situation where there is a buffet, but you’ll only take in small amounts of food. Keep thinking of this and the next time it really happens, you know what to do.

Step 4: Be an Optimist

Do not settle your thoughts on what you lost. Instead, think of what you have gained. You will be amazed at how much it helps.

Know Why You Overeat

Being overweight is caused by many factors including not exercising regularly and overeating. It would really help if you will eat properly and only when you are hungry. But some people eat whenever they feel stressed, boredom, or are emotionally distressed. We should know and understand why we do it since it’s not healthy. There are four steps you could do to maintain a good eating habit.

Step 1: Know your Habits

You should list down what and when you eat to know what caused it. You may be eating due to worry, pressure, or depression. Try some tips to avoid eating:

1. If you’re not hungry, drink some water since you might just be thirsty.

2. Decline kindly when you are being offered food which doesn’t suit well with your diet.

3. Divert your attention to something else when you want to eat. You can do an errand or shop with friends.

4. If you feel upset, do some physical activity. You’re not really hungry during this time, so just stroll or play some sport.

5. Don’t hold back too much since when you eat, it might be too much too soon. Just eat some healthy food like fruits or veggies.

This is just the first step. I’ll just continue next time since I’m busy right now. Hopefully, you’ve learned new things here.

Media and weightloss!

I absolutely love female magazines.There are a few which I absolutely adore but you have to admit a few of these articles can be really pretentious if not silly! Don’t believe me! Than check out a few headlines like, “Using the Fat flush plan” or “Detoxification to make you lose weight” and lets not forget the ever popular “Eat all you want to lose weight.”

The message in all women mags reads like this if you lose a few pounds, get a new wardrobe , earn a few thousands per week, and cook like a dream I would get a dream husband and be really happy. Yeah right if wishes were horses, fat fools like me would ride the globe!

Let me be really frank people there was a time that I tried everything and frankly my darlings,I’ve been there done that and It patently didn’t work as I’m still fat, single and unhappy!

Check out recent photos of Victoria Beckham, Nicole Richie, Lindsay Lohan, Mischa Barton and now Kate Bosworth all looking painfully gaunt and week kneed. It’s not really fair is it! Some of these prominent personalities have even resorted to painful and potentially life threatening surgeries to look thin. But is it really worth it?

If losing weight is so difficult how come post -pregnancy celebrity moms get to lose weight so fast. Its not fair;I got pregnant and had my post pregnancy fat for almost two years and I’ still struggling to keep it off.

But just look at Catherine Zeta Jones. Twice pregnant and she lost her baby weight in almost two months! Is that good for the body or even remotely healthy?In that context you’ve got to admire Brittany Spears who dared to wobble that post pregnancy body at The MTV awards in the skimpiest bikini set I’ve ever seen. But to be frank its a body which carried two babies to term with natural deliveries, so to hell with the world and its idiotic opinions of womanly beauty.

Actress model Milla Jovovich, gained up to 70 pounds for the birth of her daughter Ever Gabo. But over the next three to four weeks she got back to her previous bikini-model body by doing cardio, strength as well as core training for 25 to 45 minutes a day, five days a week. So if you are like me and you’re post pregnancy weight is just not coming off then here are a few tips from celebrity moms to help you out.

  • Brest feeding is good for you to lose the extra weight you gained during pregnancy really burns the calories and you lose more weight rather than using formula.
  • Celebrity moms like Salma Hayek and Nicole Richie are already in the advantage as they already are pretty fit .They continue their exercise regimen but at a slower pace during their pregnancy.But you might have to join a pregnancy exercise like me to keep the pregnancy weight gain in control as well as to burn off post pregnancy weight.
  • Try to start a good weight control regime before getting pregnant as you will find it better to conceive as well as take off the weight after pregnancy.

Weird fat loss inventions!

Why can’ t people just make stronger chairs?

People, will do any thing to lose weight and thats a fact! Why talk about people I’ll do anything to lose weight! But here are a few really weird inventions found over time to get your fat to melt away. Mercifully most of these really dangerous to ridiculous gadgets have been phased out of the market. Thank god for small mercies! But take a gander anyway!

The Dumbbell Phone
Check out this totally useless phone invention called as the Chindogu or the dumbbell attachment for the telephone! While you are talking on the phone build up your biceps with this relatively heavy telephone . You’ll like a fool but you will develop terrific triceps and biceps any one who even dreams of laughing at you!

The Butane Powered Pogo Stick
Runs on a really strong mixture of butane . You just pump the engine and then turn it on then wait around for the ambulance to arrive and pick up the pieces of your broken body! :) Not a good idea!

Prosepra WeSurf Home Surfing Machine
This really blows my mind! A surfing machine for those people who need to lose weight but don’t stay near the ocean. Get your body building at home itself!

Healthy foods which aren’t healthy

Whenever I decide to lose a few pounds(which is almost every month), I start cutting down a few favorite gunky foods and then switch to the healthy foods everyone likes to talk about like organics or even the grass they like to call salads.

But here’s a shocker according to new research these so-called healthy foods are not really healthy for you!

Let’s just see what I do on a typical “health food”jag. for example, I started off with a bowl of muesli for breakfast,then snacked on a tuna sandwich at lunch (fish makes you smart and lean), had a helping of non-fat pretzels around fourish (feel peckish when the boss is not around you see) and dinner was a  veg pizza with olive oil!

I think I hit all the major food groups without going over calorie right? Wrong wrong wrong! Here’s the actual break down of what I ate.

Muesli was of the commercial variety and was loaded with sweetness as wells artificial flavorings, the tuna was packed with enough butter and mayo to negate all the lovely benefits of the omega 3fatty acids. The pretzels had sugar and carbs with no benefits at all in them while the veg pizza was loaded with cheese and hidden oils. All in all I ate more on the days I was “dieting “rather than normal days!!!!! Among other healthy food which get you on the sneak to put on a few pounds are

  • Organic foods which do not contain pesticides and preservatives but do contain just the same amount of calories. Thats a  real zinger right! I was under the impression that they contain a lesser amount of calories!
  • Sushi great if made traditionally but not the versions which incorporate mayo and salt and butter.

The point being you have to pay attention to what you eat irrespective of what the blurbs say.
